BKPseniors Published! | Seattle Tacoma Puyallup senior portraits

I am so excited to share some news: Lauren’s portrait session was featured on Salt&Prep today!  Check it out by clicking here.  Salt & Prep is a super cool teen fashion blog, with lots of ideas for styling your senior portrait session.  They post portraits from all around the country, so of course I was honored when they chose to publish my submission.  They also do really neat posts on fashion trends and makeup too.  Be sure to check it out if you need some ideas for your senior session this Summer/Fall.

Of course I have to post a picture, so here is a sneak peak at Emma, a class of 2011 BKPseniors rep!

Lauren | Life is a never-ending song | senior portraits

Meet miss Lauren from Puyallup.  She had her senior portraits done quite a while ago now, but her session is hands down one of my all-time favorites!  LAuren is a talented young lady, she is a singer-songwriter who graced me with a quick song during her session.  It was A-MAZING!  Her best bud Alexis came along to help too.  We had such a great time.

Jennifer | Life is unpredictable | senior portraits

We had a little rain incident with Jennifer’s session.  We got ready, drove out to the location, and sure even it started pouring on us!  One thing I can’t control is Mother Nature.  So we left with our tails between our legs just hoping the weather would turn around in a few days.  Well I am actually glad it worked out the way it did, because day 2 was incredible.  We had gorgeous sunshine, with just enough clouds to get some fantastic beach pictures.  The beach is one of the hardest places for me to photograph, usually it is so bright with out an ounce of shade.  However one big cloud is all we needed.  Jennifer loves to sing, she is even going to college to study music.  I love when people follow their dreams, and Jennifer is dreaming big for sure!  Good luck Jennifer, and all of the class of 2010 graduates!

Alexis | Life is a beautiful mess | senior portraits

Alexis had the perfect spot in mind for her senior portraits, it was the same place her older sister had her wedding!  It was filled with fun memories for her, and I think we created a few more memories this day.  I love finding interesting props at our session, like this old bike that was leaned up against a wall, perfect!  Alexis brought a few friends along for support, and I think my cheeks hurt from laughing so much by the end.  Another great day, another great senior in front of the camera.

Susan | Life is a gift | Senior Portraits

It was the perfect day when we did Susan’s senior portraits, early in the spring right when the cherry trees are blooming.  Susan is super chill and laid back, I love how comfortable and relaxed she was in front of the camera.  I know it can be a little indimidating when the camera is pointed your direction.  I am not that fond of having my own pictures taken, I guess that is why I am behind the camera!  Anyhow, Susan totally outdid herself for these portraits, I love them!
